Learn Who We Are

  • Dr.
    Stephen Sullivan

    Dr. Stephen Sullivan and his wife Sherry are Batesville natives and have two children Adam and Sam. Dr. Sullivan graduated from West Panola High School in Batesville in 1986. After graduation, he attended the University of Mississippi majoring in Biology. In 1990, Dr. Sullivan attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and received the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1994.

    After dental school, Dr. Sullivan came home to Batesville and purchased the dental practice of his family dentist, Dr. Barry Stewart. In 2005, Dr. Sullivan built his current dental practice facility at 160 Cracker Barrel Drive in Batesville, where he now continues to serve his home town. Dr. Sullivan’s mission is to always treat his patients with the same compassion, quality, and concern that he would want himself as a dental patient. Dr. Sullivan routinely continues to enroll in current dental continuing education, so that he and his staff can bring quality dentalcare using the most current technology and techniques to his patients. “Our goal is to bring compassionate, painless, and affordable quality dentalcare to our patients in a manner in which we ourselves would want to be treated”.

  • Dr. Reid Bensch

    Dr. Reid Bensch grew up in Batesville, MS. A graduate of South Panola High School, he attended Mississippi College for his undergraduate degree and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.  In June of 2020, Dr. Bensch left the East Coast and joined the practice of his family dentist, Dr. Stephen Sullivan. Dr. Bensch considers it a great honor to treat patients and has made it his personal goal to make your dental experience the best it can possibly be. Dr. Bensch is very volunteer oriented and enjoys working locally and abroad with dental teams to provide dental care for people who wouldn’t otherwise be able to get it.

    When he isn’t treating patients, you might find him spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, playing golf, or cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels. Dr. Bensch is married to the former Lindsey Calvert, also of Batesville, who is a dental hygienist.
